Since Taxi Fare will also save your detials, if you’re ever in your local taxi you can copy down the charging rates from the notice board they normally display.  Then as long as you know roughly how far you want to go you will always have the correct fare.

Naturally if you don’t know the taxi firm, then the prices might be slightly off.
Countries differ for prices in distance, even some taxi companies have completely different rates to compete with other firms.  However you will always get the approx amount, which gives you a better judgement when knowing how much put aside for the Taxi.
